Our Impact So Far

The Kutu Acheampong Foundation is dedicated to preserving the legacy of General I.K. Acheampong while inspiring future generations through education, history, and social good. Since our inception, we have proudly undertaken the following activities:

Book Launch & Publication

Commissioned and launched “General ACHEAMPONG: The Life and Times of Ghana’s Head of State” by Professor Baffour Agyeman-Duah on 23rd September 2021.

Historic Presentation to the Asantehene

Presented the book to Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Asantehene, followed by a memorable launch at the Prempeh Assembly Hall, Kumasi on 21st November 2021.

Charitable Giving

Donated book proceeds to the Weija Leprosarium in support of Father Campbell’s work with persons affected by leprosy.

Documentary Production

Commissioned a thought-provoking TV documentary, “General ACHEAMPONG: The Life and Times of Ghana’s Head of State”, broadcast on Hawk TV and Joy TV.

Through these milestones, the Foundation continues to honor the memory of General Acheampong while making a lasting contribution to Ghanaian history, culture, and community welfare.
